This course is ideal for beginners and for those with DSLRs & point and shoot prosumer cameras who want to get more out of their photography & take it to the NEXT level.

With the rise in mobile phone photography, BPW gets fewer numbers for the Basic Workshop. Thus,  BPW now offers the Basic Workshop at dates of your convenience.

The charges are Rs 10,000/- for upto two persons.


Our motive is to take you from AUTO mode to total MANUAL mode.

Whether you have been using a camera for a while or are a new user, we demystify the mysteries of digital photography, fundamentals of photography, ISO, white balance, aperture, shutter, exposure, composition & most importantly understanding your camera & get the best out of it to get the right shot always !

Schedule for the day -

08.00 am Assemble at Lalbagh, introductions

08.15 am Information session on Basic Photography

09.00 am Take pictures of landscapes, flowers, and insects around Hebbal Lake, accompanied by instructor with practical lessons on ISO, White Balance, Shutter, Aperture & various modes on your camera

10.00 am Refreshment break

10.15 am Continue photographing

12.00 pm Learn the technique of panning

12.30 pm Lunch

01.30 pm Theory session and Q & A (at a convenient Coffee Day)

04.00 pm Certificate distribution / tea and departure
