Kabini is one of the most popular wildlife destinations in Karnataka, probably because of its easy accessibility, lush green landscape and fantastic sightings of large herds of elephants at the backwaters. It is 90km away from Mysore and 225km from Bangalore.

Significant numbers of predators live in Kabini including: Tiger, Leopard, Sloth Bear and Dhole. Prey species of grazing ungulates include Gaur, Sambar , Chital, Wild boar and Barking deer are common but the blaze of the elusive tiger always haunts you as you roam through the verdant jungle here along with award-winning wildlife photographer AB Apana.

What's in it for you ?

Nature and wildlife photography is perhaps the most difficult of all photographic genres as we have no control over our subjects. At our in-the field workshops we work closely with you and teach you the tricks-tips- techniques and guide you get to know your camera and get the best output. We also teach you how to review your pictures and how to make necessary adjustments on your camera and also on your editing software to make sure you get the right shot – always.

Tour will be guided by AB Apana.

In-the-field instructions on photography, presentations, and image reviews. 


This course is ideal for those with digital SLRs who want to take their nature and wildlife photography to the NEXT level.
We also rent out PRO-equipment & high focal length lenses.
Non-photographers can jump in too to experience the wilderness at its best.


Day 1 - Depart Bangalore for Kabini, lunch at Kabini followed by the first safari.

Days 2 and 3 - Morning and evening safaris at Kabini

Day 4 - Morning safari, check -out and return to Bangalore


3 nights - 4 days accommodation on twin sharing basis.
All meals from check-in to check-out.
